EM-TRAK – AIS B921 CLASS B TRANSPONDER – 2W – SAFETY FIRST

The Em-Trak B921 AIS transponder consumes less energy, while offering the best AIS and GPS performance, ensuring that every transmission is translated in real time and without error.

As a reminder, a Class B AIS transponder is a device used in ships to transmit and receive information on position, heading, speed, characteristics, position via GPS connection, ship identity via MMSI number and name. The Class B AIS transponder is a smaller, less expensive version of the Class A AIS transponders used on large commercial vessels.

B921 AIS transponder connectivity

The transceiver connects and shares data simultaneously on multiple devices and on any type of screen : chartplotter, PC, tablet, cell phone or connected watch.

You’ll then have access to the best features of your onboard equipment, including all AIS-related functions such as weather, MOB, anti-collision, anchor safety, vessel tracking and more.

This model of Em-Trak B921 Class B AIS transponder features the following connectivity:

  • VHF antenna – SO-239
  • GNSS-TNC
  • NMEA 0183
  • NMEA 2000
  • USB port for NMEA 0183 data

Reliable and easy to install

Em-trak AIS transceivers are designed with high-quality components for years of continuous, maintenance-free operation.

This AIS transponder is designed for the harshest marine environments, and all products are extensively tested to ensure they are waterproof and resistant to extreme temperatures, shock, vibration and sun/UV.

Thanks to the Flexi-Fit installation bracket, integrated GPS antenna, and connectivity options such as NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183 and USB ports, the em-trak AIS transponder has been designed and developed for quick and easy configuration and installation on any vessel.

Finally, all em-trak AIS transponders are rigorously tested and certified to meet international AIS standards, so you can have peace of mind, wherever you are. FCC, USCG, Canada and EU certified.
