The Em-Trak B922 AIS transponder consumes less energy, while offering the same features as the Em-Trak AIS transponder improved AIS and GPS performance, guaranteeing that every transmission is translated in real time and without error. This version features integrated WiFi and Bluetooth functionality for wireless connectivity And fast AIS data transmission, compatible with any mobile device or PC.

Thanks to its flexible connectivity, it can be used by nine different devices simultaneously, this allows everyone on board to get the most out of the transceiver and related on-board equipment, every day. The B922 AIS transponder also works with em-trak’s Connect-Ais application, making device programming, configuration and monitoring easier than ever.

As a reminder, a Class B AIS transponder is a device used on ships to transmit and receive information on position, heading, speed, characteristics, position via GPS connection, vessel identity via MMSI number and name. The Class B AIS transponder is a smaller, less expensive version of the Class A AIS transponders used on large commercial vessels.
